Based on 206 reviewsMam’s Thai Cuisine is praised for its flavorful and authentic Thai dishes, with particular appreciation for its curries, appetizers, and soups. Customers commonly note the freshness and warmth of the food, alongside generous portion sizes. The restaurant offers a variety of spice levels and flavorful condiments that enhance the dining experience. Service is frequently described as friendly and efficient, contributing to a positive overall atmosphere despite the restaurant’s relatively small and occasionally crowded space. While the venue’s limited seating can lead to a busy environment, many diners find the quality of food and attentive service well worth the wait. The clean and inviting interior further supports Mam’s reputation as a reliable choice for Thai cuisine in Lubbock.
Limited seating, so arrived before the main lunch crowd at noon. Flavors and prices were great. Food is brought to the table. Thai tea is easier to stir in to-go cup. Loved the appetizer, which we hadn't anticipated! The chip-type portion was deep fried, and the sauce was tangy.
Every single thing I’ve ever gotten at Mam’s is absolutely delicious! My personal favorite is the panang curry. It is so comforting and I absolutely love the flavor and the little bit of sweetness from the coconut milk.
Small busy place with 5-6 tables. Food arrives steaming hot and fresh. Truth be told, this is not the tastiest Thai food we have had.. Still good food (8 on 10 maybe) service is quick, the restaurant is in a good location, with friendly serviceYou ordered first and then sit down to get the food delivered to you at the table.Overall a good experience for a quick lunch.
At here about 7 pm on a Friday night - absolutely loved it. It's a small small space which is why it's a 4 star atmosphere, but it's very clean and neat inside, not loud like it could be. All the employees we interacted with are nice! They offer 3 spice levels up to extra hot. They have other extras like jalapenos, chili oil and a ultra tasty crispy garlic oil.We had their pork satay, beef egg rolls, pad see ew (medium) and pad Thai (hot). Their beef egg rolls didn't short you on the filling, it was a packed roll and there was plenty of visibly moist beef inside. Came out hot with sweet chili dipping sauce, very very good!! The satay came out, also piping hot. The 4 skewers were also very moist, had lovely lemongrass and curry and coriander flavors, and peanut sauce had great flavor, sitting between sweet and smokey just right. Their cucumber salad to the side gave the needed cut.Entrees we're both a generous amount of food and we're both so hot we had to let it sit a bit and stir to cool down - but both were very saucy and, with meats moist and noodle plump. The Pad See Ew was just right with heat for me, they accidentally gave me both beef and chicken which worked cause I could preview both. I prefer the beef, spice was just enough for me. Pad Thai was quite spicy and light despite being a massive bowl and the peanut crispy top was great.Absolutely nothing af at all in the food we had. We're confident if we did take away that our food driven back to the house would still be hot hot. It's all evidently cooked too order, nothing has been sitting on deck getting stale or overcooked waiting on customers.Absolutely must try this place!!We paid 38 and change, leaving 12 dollar tip on the card and wish I'd had cash to leave once we had the food.
Incredible place for Thai food in the area. Service is very friendly and fast. Gets very cramped inside but the food is worth it. Coconut chicken soup is A super. Portion size is great.
Let me start off by saying the food here is amazing. The staff is also amazing. Mr.Silva has growing a connection to our children. Today we came in to eat and Mr. Silva brought out cake and a gifts for my daughter's birthday. He remembered as telling him last week that her birthday was coming. This is our Is favorite restaurant in Lubbock. Highly Recommend!
Did you ever have a meal so amazing that you want to come back the next day and the next day and every day there after. This is that place! Thai coffee is my new energy drink.
My new favorite! The coconut chicken soup was SO flavorful. My husband got the pepper beef and really enjoyed it. Also got beef egg rolls. Everyone was super friendly. Oh did I say the food great? It was. We will be coming back for sure!
